Employment Role: SOURCING SPECIALIST
As a HPPT Sourcing Specialist you will play a pivotal part of our organisation and its success. Our Key end user clients comprise Manufacturing facilities from all Industrial Sectors. We utilise our global supply chain to source and secure offers which we pass to our end user direct customer base.
We are busier than ever helping to keep the wheels of industry turning which will give the right candidate an exciting opportunity to join our growing multinational team.
HPPT support our customers to ensure they have all the parts, spares, tooling and equipment they need to operate 24/7. You would be expected to work hard to secure the parts needed and obtain the best deals from our vast global supply chain.
Reporting to the Regional Sourcing Manager you will build and develop effective sustainable relationships with both our Global supply chain and our end user customer base to increase sales opportunities and maximise revenue growth.
Requirements:
- Strong team skills and the ability to interact well with Suppliers, Customers and colleagues.
- Strong Communication: Excellent ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing with a wide range of Suppliers, Customers and colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft office: Excel, Word and Outlook – Essential
- 1-2 Years’ Experience within Sourcing & Procurement, ideally from a manufacturing/MRO/Industrial supplies background.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Innovative – can trouble shoot and resolve problems effectively.
- The ability to communicate and understand technical requirements
- Must be able to handle various priorities and work in a fast paced environment
- An assertive individual with the personality and confidence to build strong relationships
Responsibilities:
- Develop supplier relationships to ensure a high level of service
- Sourcing materials directly from Manufacturers and distributors in Europe, USA, Asia, MENA and all other Global regions.
- Sourcing Materials via online portals
- Keeping track of pending customer requests and their deadlines
- Creating and submitting quotations directly to end user procurement teams and online portals.
- Build deep knowledge of the supply market within the business
- Negotiating with suppliers for cost improvements
